Deodorization Process: Funk Fumigator uses a patent-protected fumigation process in which CDA 19, an anhydrous form of ethanol, quickly evaporates and fills the volume of the sealed bag. The ethanol vapor penetrates and dissolves into the water shielded by the multitude of voids in fabric and foam. This is where bacteria thrive and multiply. Over the course of a few hours, as the ethanol concentration within the water increases, it becomes increasingly toxic to the bacteria within and thereby directly destroys the source of foul odors.
Key Difference: Sprays and powders lack the capacity to penetrate the voids of fabric and foam and thus cannot thoroughly deodorize in the way a fumigation system like Funk Fumigator can.
